Marygrace Catindig Prom (born May 3rd 1995, commonly referred to as MG) is a Canadian graphic designer and photographer. She is best known as a pianist and a theatre socialite known as "The Broadway Hipster." She is often seen as an iconic theatre page admin and is set apart from others due to her technological know-how and creative projects. She has cooperated with many well known theatre websites/blogs such as Broadway Spotted and Camp Broadway. Prom started learning instrumental music (piano) at the age of 4. She competed in the nationally know Kiwanis Music Festival from 2006-2012, also earning her 2002 Pianist of The Year. Along side she has been enrolled in The Royal Conservatory of Music up until 2012 and competed in Académie Ste Cécile Music Festival, being awarded 2003 Pianist of The Year. At the age of 5, Prom got asked to be a last minute put-in as Little Cosette in a community theatre production of Les Miserable. From that day on she has performed many concerts singing selections from musical theatre. January 2011, Prom applied to be part of one of most well known theatre blogs called Broadway Spotted. She was in charge of maintaining a colum called "Wardrobe Wednesdays." Creating new broadway costume inspired everyday outfits. After a year of doing that she got to join Camp Broadway.com's blog team. With her passion for musical theatre, MG started a theatre twitter account call "The Broadway Hipster." Because of the attention the page was getting she was able to inspire and help out other aspiring performers, giving tips on how to improve their performance and/or audition or giving them some words of encouragement to achieve their dreams. Asides from Prom's love for music and theatre, her skills are the strongest in anything that is technology related; more specifically graphic design. She is also pretty well versed in movie directing/editing, web design (coding) and sound mixing/editing. Prom started making movies as hobby at age 10 and self taught herself in design when she was 13. Over time her hobby started turning into a freelance job. She had the great fortune designing for many theatre related organizations such as The Drama Space and International Music and Entertainment Association, Inc. In 2014, MG was given the opportunity to be a presenter at the 2nd Annual 2014 IMEA awards.
